About Linda
Linda Yates, 66, is a wife, mother, and grandmother, now living in Central Florida. She has lived there for 14 years, after spending 4 years in the St. Louis area, one year In North Central Pennsylvania, and the remainder of her lifetime in South Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia.
She has been interested and involved in natural methods of healing, herbs, alternative medicine, healthy living, and all related subjects for most of her life. Back in the ‘80’s, she was a licensed Real Estate Broker, Life Insurance (TERM ONLY!) salesperson, and Securities Registered dealer! She believed, and still does believe in “Buy Term and Invest the Difference”.
She has been self-employed the better part of the past 35 years. She’s been online for about 12 years now, and it is the love of her life as far as occupation. She is a happy online entrepreneur!
In 2007 her cat tripped her and a horrific infection developed in her right ankle, which only got worse over the next 7 months, culminating in the amputation of her right leg above the knee on December 20, 2007. What a Christmas THAT was! She finally came home, but the next 90 days got sicker and sicker, as she had caught a major MRSA infection in her LEFT leg while having the right one amputated, was allergic to the cat, and her breathing was getting worse due to asthma and allergies. She was taken to the hospital, dying, on March 26th, 2008. They saved her life, but she was in a coma for months and on life support for a month or so, and then went into a rehab after months of hospitalization. Medical bills topped over a million dollars.
She’s been out of hospitals and rehabs now for years and is fully recovered mentally and physically, though of course she is still an amputee. The multiple drugs she was given burned out her kidneys, so she is on kidney dialysis twice a week, but is sure she will be off that in a year or less. It is her heartfelt belief that ANYONE can fight back IF THEY WILL TRY. It takes a lot of guts, but she is a survivor. With the help of Ed, her wonderful husband of over 30 years, she knows she can handle whatever comes at her. This website is the culmination of a lifetime of experiences, and she is determined to help others as she has been helped. She is an herbal healer of over 40 years and has overcome diabetes, asthma, congestive heart failure, COPD, and chronic bronchitis. She WILL overcome the kidney situation!

Ed has three children by his first wife, a son and two daughters. He has been happily married to Linda now for over 30 years.
When they came to Florida, Ed continued working as an electrician and helping Linda with her businesses until she became ill. He then retired from the electrical field at the age of 69.
He is a firm believer in nutrition, nutritional supplements, and proper exercise, and continues to this day doing all of these things. Now they work TOGETHER full time at several internet businesses and feel they have "given birth" to this website!
